Garden Shed Review
Translation by Yoshiko Progrena K
The 2017 new album of Maxophone, who became a legend with only their debut album 42 years ago. This album maintains their modern taste plus the medieval nostalgia, and neatly deliberated in studio. Their musical feature of classic and jazz is present. Highly crafted composition and atmosphere with violin; an essence of Gentle Giant is heard elsewhere but remains absolutely original with the voice of Alberto Ravasini. All this creates Maxophone’s dream world. This album would be ranked as the works that maintained the original 70s taste, as was heard in Museo Rosenbach and Latte e Miele. A must-to-listen to all fans of Italian rock!
